The SIA National Health and Safety Conference will be held from 22-23 May 2019 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.
As part of the #SAFETYSCAPE Convention, the conference will bring together stakeholders across the health and safety profession to discuss some of the challenges currently faced by WHS professionals and practitioners and explore the impacts these have on the OHS profession,
as well as new ideas, innovation, research and leadership.

The conference will challenge the thinking of health and safety professionals and set the agenda for the future of safety. The program will showcase some of the best national and international speakers who will explore the conference theme: Back to the Future.

Thought leaders will reflect on where we have been as safety professionals, where we are today and provide insights into where we are headed in the future. Experts will also discuss how the profession has been shaped by social, culture, political, promotional, organizational and technological influences and how they have impacted the way we work.

The program will provide a platform for stakeholders across various industries and disciplines to reconnect with the purpose, contributions and stewardship associated with being a health and safety professional.

The two-day conference will be bookended by a series of events including the Pre-Conference Workshops,  Eric Wigglesworth Memorial Lecture, Conference Dinner and Aspiring Leaders Breakfast.
