Edith Cowan University (ECU) provides the ideal learning environment for people who want to reach their potential. We work closely with industry to keep our learning materials up to date. As a result our Occupational Health and Safety Programs are accredited by the SIA and IOSH, and the Occupational Hygiene and Toxicology degrees are accredited by AIOH and BOHS.

Our senior teaching staff are all PhD qualified and have an average of over 20 years experience! Every Lecturer has industry experience for example in Oil and Gas, Mining, Manufacturing, Health Care, Government.

All Lecturers have completed our internal lecturing training course, so you know you will receive great support. Our online student support includes amazing learning resources and after hours personal tutors.

ECU is proud to be associated with the SIA. A representative of the academic program will attend each day of the SIA National Safety Conference and will be pleased to discuss any of our Bachelor, Masters or PhD programs!
